Julie Lopiccolo has been a partner at Cottle Keen Lopiccolo & Heyde, LLP since 2014. During her time with the firm, she has litigated or settled dozens of marital dissolutions and served as litigation counsel on several multi-million-dollar trust disputes. But her passion is advising clients on securing their assets, and their legacy and protecting their families through estate planning. Her goal is to ensure your family never sees the inside of a courtroom due to a failed estate plan.
Julie’s clients call her honest, professional, and responsive to their needs and frequently refer friends and family to seek her advice and counsel. She was recently named an Outstanding Attorney Under 40 by the National Association of Women Business Owners and was awarded the Blue Ribbon Award for the Prevention of Child Abuse for her philanthropic work in child injury prevention and water safety.
Julie Lopiccolo received her Juris Doctor Degree from Whittier College School of Law where she graduated summa cum laude and was 5th in her class. While at Whittier, she served as Executive Editor of the prestigious Law Review and received numerous academic awards for top grades. Her graduate and undergraduate studies included overseas programs in Thailand and Spain where she studied advanced concepts in international politics and law.
Julie Lopiccolo is a lifelong Orange County resident and serves as an Ambassador for the Orange Chamber of Commerce. She is a sought-out speaker and expert in water safety and her recent testimony before a house committee in Sacramento helped lead to an important improvement of a key child injury prevention law. She is currently working with experts across the nation to develop a National Water Safety Action Plan and is a founding member of the California Water Safety Coalition.
