About Trish Butcher
I am an attorney, native Athenian, and, most importantly, a mom. After having my son Max, I realized just how important comprehensive Estate Planning is and how outdated most of the traditional legal options are. I wanted to create a modern, stress-free way for parents to plan for their families and protect their loved ones, so I opened Arch Legacy Firm. I want to connect with families on a much more personal level to ensure that the plan I put in place for them will achieve all of their goals and actually work after they are gone.
Prior to opening Arch Legacy Firm, I graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in Political Science (Go Dawgs!) before attending Emory School of Law. I worked for the Medical Association of Georgia for six years, representing physicians both as an attorney and lobbyist. To fully realize my dream for Arch Legacy, I completed a six-month master course with the New Law Business Model to become a certified Personal Family Lawyers and Family Business Lawyer.
Here in Athens, I love supporting our community and am on the Board of BrightPaths Athens, Georgia Options and Georgia Special Needs Alliance, and I am an active member of both the Oconee and Athens Chambers of Commerce. I also love cheering on the Dawgs at all home games and am so excited to raise my son in the community I grew up in. I look forward to continuing to protect Georgia families!
