I’ve been a lawyer for over 30 years, working in everything from commercial litigation to employment law, both in large firms and as a solo practitioner. After years of running my own law firm, I transitioned back to a job with a nice paycheck (because who doesn’t like the 15th and 30th?), only to be hit with a life-changing diagnosis: breast cancer.
During my treatment, I realized something terrifying—I didn’t have an updated estate plan. My kids were adults, and I had been divorced for years, yet the only plan I had was the one my ex-husband and I set up decades ago. Honestly, it was the last thing I could focus on with chemo, radiation, surgeries, and more surgeries, taking up all my energy. So, I did the best I could—sending my kids an email with insurance details and account logins, hoping that would be enough if the worst happened. Thankfully, it wasn’t necessary—I’m cancer-free today!
But something shifted during that very scary journey. I went through a profound personal transformation—spiritually, emotionally, and professionally. And that shift led me to realize that I wanted to help people avoid the same kind of stress and uncertainty I faced: a catastrophic illness and a useless estate plan.
On top of that, some very close family friends’ nightmare experience with their father’s DIY estate planning further confirmed that I needed to refocus my practice. Witnessing how a lack of proper planning, and a couple of years and thousands of dollars eating up the estate, caused irreparable damage within their family was the final nudge I needed to make a change.
Now, I spend my days celebrating the legacy I’m building and dedicating my practice 100% to modern asset protection, compassionate, client-centered estate planning, and business formation; in other words, legacy planning and protection for singles and families, young and “seasoned” alike. I know firsthand how easy it is to brush off this kind of planning, but I’m here to help you make sure your legacy is celebrated and protected right now—while you’re here and long after you’re gone.

Because your legacy deserves a plan.
We begin with a comprehensive inventory of everything you own, and everyone you love, and consider it all in a working meeting, called a Family Wealth Planning Session, to guide you to clarify your financial life and legacy goals before we draft a single document.
We work with you throughout every life stage to map out the most likely scenarios for you and the people you love, planning for each as your life, the law, and your assets change over time.
Our Life & Legacy Planning process ensures everything that matters most -- from your financial assets to your values, insights, stories and experience -- are captured and documented during your life and cared for over the generations to come.
Transparency in our process, and our fees … all of which are flat fees, agreed to in advance, based on your choices and with no surprises, ensuring we stay on the same side of the table - supporting you to make a lifetime of great decisions - every step of the way.
Our systems help you get clear and organized, overcoming the exact issues that keep most estate plans from actually working when they are needed most. We help you leave your family with a gift of love, and not a mess.
