About Taylor Haley

My background was in litigation so for years I saw what happened when people did not have a good plan in place or their plan failed when they needed it most. I like to say that I have seen the BAD and the UGLY so I am keenly focused on how to make it GOOD. Now, in my role as an estate planner and business planner, I love helping people plan for a LIFE of legacy and prosperity by guiding them through choices for their loved ones and their hard-earned assets. By educating clients on their options, I empower them to make their own choices and build a plan that will work when their families and businesses need it. I focus not just on what happens when they die but on making sure they have the tools in their toolbox needed if and when they became incapacitated. I love working with my clients’ team of trusted advisors such as accountants, financial planners, insurance agents, retirement or care home staff, health care providers, or bankers to make sure their plan is as cohesive as possible. And I love reaching out to clients’ family members or friends to introduce myself and discuss their roles for the future. It is very comforting for my clients to know that we have a circle of communication so everyone knows who to turn to when the inevitable circumstances in life arise. My role as a guide to my clients does not end when they sign their documents–it is a relationship where they can call on me for anything, and they know I am here to help their families when they need it most. It is an honor and a privilege to walk with my clients and their families through the joys and hardships of their lives because planning for LIFE is what it is all about for me and the team here at Compass Law.

Testimonials

“Taylor got to know me and understood what I wanted and why. Taylor created an estate plan focused on asset protection, healthcare directives, a power of attorney and a will, all that I could live (and die with). She interpreted my wishes into easily understandable and appropriate options based on our discussions. My plans reflect what is right for me now, and right for those I leave behind later, and she remains available to me and them into the future.”

– LINDA G

“Words cannot express my thankfulness for you! This process, well the idea of it, was something that terrified me. You made it all so clear and really put me at ease. When we left that initial meeting, I knew without a shadow of a doubt that my family would be 100% taken care of and that you would do everything you could to help keep it as smooth as possible! I pray we never have to implement the Kids Protection Plan, but if we do, I am so very thankful for you!”

– LAURA

“I cannot thank you enough for helping walk my parents through the process of estate planning and getting an updated will and a trust in place. I have vigorously encouraged them to get this done the past 5-10 years, and more so in the past 12 months, as I have watched my spouse go through the process of obtaining medical and financial POAs and address other end-of-life issues for both of his elderly, living parents. I’m excited you’re guiding them through something in which they are truly unfamiliar.
