 A “life transition lawyer,” Tamara Rowles, is a California licensed attorney, certified mediator, certified divorce consultant, and Santa Barbara County Civil Service Commissioner. Tamara helps families navigate life’s most difficult events through her boutique practice, Truce Resolutions. She is also the innovative creator of the on Demand divorce support app, Divorce Wave™. Tamara is dedicated to helping clients conquer both the legal and emotional challenges of divorce, estate planning, and family disputes.  After spending the bulk of her 20+ year career as a litigation attorney defending Fortune 500 clients in “Big Law,” Tamara transitioned into mediation and estate planning to help families minimize conflict related to end-of-marriage and end-of-life transitions.  As someone who has gone through tragic family events and the divorce process herself, Tamara understands the fear, uncertainty, and helplessness when the unexpected occurs. Tamara grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles and attended UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UC Davis School of Law. She has lived all over the world, from San Francisco to Washington, DC, to Beijing, before settling with her two children and life partner in the beautiful oak-studded hills of the Santa Ynez Valley, a community she is proud to serve and call home.
