About Sheri Kelly
As a counselor, Sheri is dedicated to educating, advising, and providing exceptional value and service to her clients. Sheri recognizes the importance of proactive estate planning and guides her clients through the decisions that will ensure their wealth is directed to the people and causes that matter to them the most. The guiding principle of Sheri’s practice is to ensure that her clients’ plans work for them and their family when they need them and to keep her clients out of court and controversy.
Before transitioning to estate planning, Sheri developed her strategic planning skills as a litigator for over 15 years at prominent law firms and in her own practice. She represented individuals and small business owners in consumer protection, breach of contract, real estate litigation, and other disputes. With this experience, Sheri is well-positioned to keep her clients out of litigation and court, and to provide certainty and peace of mind for them and their loved ones during the estate planning process.
Sheri has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer, which recognizes the top lawyers in Northern California, from 2019 through 2025. She is also a graduate of UC Berkeley and UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings).
On a personal note, Sheri is the mother of two children and understands that estate planning is not something you do for yourself, but for the people you love. Among other organizations, Sheri supports the Monterey Bay Aquarium, Second Harvest Food Bank of Silicon Valley, and New Ballet in San Jose. She enjoys yoga, scuba diving, cooking, volunteering at her kids’ school, and spending time with her family.
