Hello! I’m Poonam Mehta and welcome to Mehta Esq, an estate planning firm dedicated to helping parents and families enhance their lives today and secure their futures tomorrow. My goal is to be your trusted advisor who helps you make the very best personal, financial, and legal decisions for you and your family throughout your lifetime and beyond. I will guide you through the often-confusing maze of financial and legal

decisions to create a plan that ensure the well-being of your family and the preservation and growth of your cherished family assets. My legal expertise includes family protection, wealth preservation, and values-based planning, as well as planning strategies for blended families, unmarried couples and single or divorced individuals.

Whether you are married or single, with a traditional family or blended one, just starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, I will help you craft a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come. I graduated from Michigan State University College of Law. After graduation, I focused my law practice on insurance subrogation and general civil litigation. In 2025 I opened Mehta Esq, a practice dedicated to creating authentic relationships with clients to help educate and guide them to preserve their family’s legacy through estate planning. I love connecting with my community and speaking to private groups on a variety of topics including family wealth planning, wealth preservation, and asset protection of

inheritances, and Kids Protection Planning. As a mother of two, I share your desire to provide safety, financial stability, and lasting security for your children. I currently reside in Los Angeles with my husband Dutt, and our two sons Hetvik and Riyansh.
