About Mike Schroer

My practice is built around helping families protect what matters most, preserve their hard-earned wealth, and create plans that reflect their values. No matter where you are in life - building your future or reflecting on the legacy you'll leave behind, married or single, in a blended family or a traditional one - I'm here to help you create a personalized plan that cares for your loved ones today and well into the future.
I grew up in St. Louis, received my B.A. in English literature from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2001, and went on to earn my law degree at Washington University in 2004. Following law school, I spent nearly two decades in private practice, tried cases in state and federal courts, and became a partner at one of the biggest law firms in the country. After a brief detour into the corporate world, I launched Schroer Legacy Law LLC to build a practice that helps real people like my own family and friends.
These days, I love educating my community about estate planning and kids protection planning and helping people prepare for whatever the future may bring.
Outside of the office, you might find me hanging with my wife and our dogs, Arnold and Odie, spending time with family, traveling, hiking Missouri trails, jogging, or on my front porch with a good book.
