Merlaine Mosley was born and raised in the Sunshine State of Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida before attending Drake University Law School. Her journey in law has been guided by a deep commitment to helping others navigate life’s most important decisions with confidence and clarity. Rooted in strong values and a dedication to service, Merlaine brings both knowledge and compassion to her work, helping clients protect what matters most through thoughtful and practical legal planning.

Merlaine began her legal career exploring various areas of law. However, after experiencing the profound loss of her first child, she took time away from practice to heal and reflect. This period deepened her empathy and strengthened her resolve to pursue her lifelong goal of helping others through the law. Upon returning to practice, she spent several years in litigation before choosing to focus her career on what truly inspires her — helping families.

Today, Merlaine dedicates her practice to supporting families who are deeply committed to one another.
