Matthew Konchel

I lead a boutique law practice helping business owners and families protect their assets and build succession and estate plans that work for the people they care about, with the primary goal of creating plans that keep clients and their loved ones out of court and conflict.
Originally hailing from Michigan's Detroit area, I have been a resident of Downingtown, Pennsylvania (just outside Philadelphia) for the last 25 years. I am also a veteran, having proudly served as a combat paratrooper with the U.S. Army's "All-American" 82nd Airborne Division.
I earned my law degree from Temple University. I have been an attorney since 1998, and I have worked not only in the military, but also the academic and corporate sectors (in addition to owning and managing several small business ventures), so I understand from life experience what it is like to be an employee, a business owner, a soldier, a parent and a son, and how challenging these roles can be and how they can come into conflict. Accordingly, I serve the estate and corporate planning needs of business owners and entrepreneurs, veterans, real estate investors, retirees, LGBTQ families, new parents, and blended families to help them protect their lives, legacies and assets and help ensure that both their wealth and their values are passed from generation to generation. I have been married to my high-school childhood sweetheart Lisa for 33 years and am the proud father of two children. I am also an avid college football fan who is fluent in movie quotes and music lyrics.
