Lena Chun Lee is a Native of NC. Born in Morganton, NC & went to middle & high school in Charlotte.
She is a proud Mustang graduate of Myers Park High School. Lena then attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, receiving her Bachelor of Arts, making every day a Good Day to be a Tar Heel #GDTBATH! She then moved to Los Angeles to enjoy the beautiful weather & to broaden her horizons on the West Coast, pursuing her passion for advocacy and community work. She then followed her dream to become an attorney and came back East. Lena moved to the Big Apple to attend New York Law School, where she received her Juris Doctor degree.
Lena moved back to Charlotte after graduation and entered the public sector continuing her love of community service. She worked as the Executive Director of a start up non-profit that focused on the Asian community called the Carolinas Asian-American Chamber of Commerce (CAACC). One of the leaders who started the non-profit was her Father who instilled in her a strong love and dedication to serve others.
After the CAACC became self-sufficient, Lena moved back to Manhattan where she worked as a legal recruiter and then started at a small law firm that specializes in insurance defense litigation with clients including Progressive Insurance & Geico. Lena then worked as an In-House Attorney at American Transit Insurance Co for 5 years where she led teams of attorneys & paralegals that handled extensive caseloads and arbitrations. It was in this position that she learned her talent for operations and management.
While in NYC, Lena was extremely active in both the Asian and legal community. She was a member of several bar associations holding several leadership positions in the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York (KALAGNY) including President in 2009-2010.
Lena met her husband in NYC and after having kids, she became a stay at home mother. She stayed active in her local community in various positions while also still staying active in the legal community by heading up a monthly pro-bono clinic in Tenafly, NJ at the Korean Community Center through KALAGNY.
In 2021, Lena returned home to Charlotte, NC, and opened her practice helping those in her community. Her mission is to be a resource for those in her community, to serve and help others, and to be a strong advocate for her clients.
