About Kristin Wells

Kristin Wells is an experienced attorney with a distinguished career of over 25 years in which she focused on human rights, immigration, women's rights and human trafficking in public service and private practice . Recently, she served as General Counsel for the Peace Corps, and her earlier public service legal work included navigating complex legal landscapes and fostering bipartisan collaboration on the Judiciary and Foreign Affairs Committees on Capitol Hill. She also was a partner and associate at two prestigious law firms, Patton Boggs LLP and White and Case LLP. In 2019, Kristin opened her solo practice at Wells Law Firm in her hometown, Washington, D.C., focusing on estate planning to meet the evolving needs of families. Kristin is a proud parent of two adult artists, and she is an alumna of Brown University, American University, and Columbia Law School.
