About Kia Hohaia

As a Personal Family Lawyer, I love serving individuals and families who want to protect and provide for their loved ones when they are not able to or are no longer around. I really enjoy helping people who want to leave behind treasures for their loved ones beyond money and property, including such gems as their life stories, experiences, values, and lessons they’ve learned. I do this by not just giving my clients a bunch of documents to sign and take with them – I empower them with the understanding they need to make well-informed estate planning decisions for themselves and their loved ones, then give them a way to save and share with those who they will leave behind the precious memories of their life that their loved ones will cherish for many generations to come.

I also provide guidance to people who want to make sure that the assets they work hard to earn are owned in the right way so that they are safely transferred to and protected for the benefit of their loved ones when needed. I am thrilled to help those who want to make sure their estate plan actually works when their loved ones need it by keeping their plan updated throughout their life and providing support to families of my clients upon their incapacity or death. And I am passionate about helping parents who want their young children to be properly cared for and raised should anything happen to them.
