About Kathryn Flores

As a Personal Family Lawyer, I love that I get to know my clients personally. Clients often find that it is easier to meet with me in their home, and it is a privilege to get to meet with my clients in the place that is most comfortable for them. I enjoy hand-crafting estate plans that take into account clients’ unique family dynamics, interests, and values.

I used to be a litigator, and I saw families face the expense and stress of litigation when they found themselves unprepared for a loved one’s incapacity or death. During those difficult transitions, familial conflict often arose, even in the closest-knit families.

As an Estate Planner and a Personal Family Lawyer, I have made it my mission to help people prepare the smoothest transition, from their hands to their loved ones’ hands, for the possibility of incapacity and the eventuality of death. The greatest gift a person can give their loved ones is one that helps them avoid the heartache, mess, and stress of ending up in court for incapacity hearings, probate, or resolution of familial conflict.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three kids. We love card games, visiting friends, and traveling to new places. I feel at home anywhere in nature: in the mountains, at the beach, or even in the desert–I just love the great outdoors.

    How you hire us.

We begin with a comprehensive inventory of everything you own, and everyone you love, and consider it all in a working meeting, called a Family Wealth Planning Session, to guide you to clarify your financial life and legacy goals before we draft a single document.

  • Asset-1@3x
    How we plan.

We work with you throughout every life stage to map out the most likely scenarios for you and the people you love, planning for each as your life, the law, and your assets change over time.

  • Asset-1transparency
    What you see.

Transparency in our process, and our fees … all of which are flat fees, agreed to in advance, based on your choices and with no surprises, ensuring we stay on the same side of the table - supporting you to make a lifetime of great decisions - every step of the way.

  • Asset-1DElivery
    How we deliver.

  • Asset-1work-150x150
    How our plans work.

One-and-done estate plans focused only on money are a recipe for a big mess. We help you throughout every stage of life and be there for the people you love, when you can’t be.
