Hi. I'm Joel Norris. I became a Personal Family Lawyer because I'm passionate about serving clients and helping them to create secure and happy futures while enriching their lives today.
I'm here to help Houston area families and business owners navigate the maze of legal and financial decisions you face.
In my practice, I specialize in estate planning, probate, transfer tax avoidance, estate/trust administration, estate/trust litigation, and tax controversy/litigation.
I provide practical, insightful, and innovative counsel to my clients. Whether you are married or single, a traditional family or a blended one, starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, I will help you to design a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come.
I graduated from Texas Tech University School of Law and am Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
I love educating my community on the topics of estate planning and probate. I am an active member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Section and Taxation Section), American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and State Bar College of Texas as well as the Houston Probate Inns of Court.
