Jilian Morton

Hi. I’m Jilian Morton. I became a Personal Family Lawyer because I’m passionate about helping families create happy and secure futures while giving them peace of mind today. I’m here to help business owners make wise legal decisions that best suit their specific needs.

In my practice, I focus on Family Protection, Wealth Preservation, and Value-Based Planning. I also have extensive experience representing my clients in real estate transactions, probate matters, and business law. My goal is to assist clients in their legal matters, whether transactional or in litigation.

I enjoy crafting the best plan for YOU and YOUR family; married or single, a traditional family or a blended one, starting out or looking back on a life well-lived. Estate planning is not “one-size fits all” and should be tailored as such.

My educational qualifications include a double degree from Colby College (Waterville, ME) in Classics and Classical Civilizations and a Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School with a concentration in Labor and Employment Law. I graduated high school from Tabor Academy in Marion, MA.

Prior to opening my own firm, I worked in Boston at the Massport Authority handling labor negotiations and grievances for management. Also, I worked at several small boutique firms who concentrated on Personal Injury, Employment Law, Civil Litigation, and Real Estate Conveyancing.

As a fifth-generation Wareham resident, I strive to be a part of the community in work and service. My family has great ties to the community including my late grandfather who was the owner of Del’s Taxi in town. I participate in the Gateway Chapter of Networking Group USA, am a member of the Wareham Guardian Club, and volunteer pro bono hours monthly at the Wareham Council on Aging. My family resides in town, and I am ready to serve my community from the Main Street office.

And most importantly, I am the proud mother of two children!
