About Emily Hester

Hi, I'm Emily Hester, your local Personal Family Lawyer in Encinitas, California.

I'm here to help you protect what matters most-your family, your assets, and your legacy-by creating an estate plan that keeps your loved ones out of court and out of conflict. Most importantly, I want to give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing your family won't be left with unnecessary stress or legal battles.

I primarily serve families with young kids who are looking for guidance on how to best plan for their minor children.The "mental load" of parenting is never-ending, but every parent deserves to know their children will be cared for both emotionally and financially in the event the unthinkable occurs.

My practice is virtual, which allows me to serve families across California and allows my clients to conveniently meet with me from their home or office.

I received my B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and my J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law. I am also a wife, mother of two kids, and small business owner. On the weekends you can find me at the beach, walking, hiking, or spending time in my backyard with my family.
