About Elizabeth Smith
Hi. I'm Liz Smith. When I started my own law practice, I knew I wanted to practice law differently. That is why I became a Personal Family Lawyer.
I'm here to help Alaskan's navigate the maze of legal and financial decisions you face around incapacity and death.
I focus on all aspects of estate planning including Kids Protection Planning, Business Advising, Special Need Planning, and Holistic Elder Care.
No matter your age or family structure, I will help you to design a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today and for years to come.
I also provide business advising for a select number of businesses. This holistic approach helps businesses achieve their next level of growth, whether that's getting off the ground, moving from 3 to 5 million, or getting systems in place to free up more of the owners time!
I graduated near the top of my class at Vermont Law School and spent over nine years working for the State of Alaska, including as an Assistant Public Defender and Assistant Attorney General. I took pride in serving the State, but I find private practice a far better fit. I love to meet and serve our clients and I love providing an amazing work environment for our employees.
On a personal note, I live in Juneau with my husband and our two dogs. When not working you can find us travelling the world, or you might find me training for my next Ironman triathlon.
