I am so glad you are here! As a Personal Family Lawyer and founding attorney at The Guerre Group, my priority is educating and serving my clients and my community in a way far beyond a set of documents that get “all of your ducks in a row.” I want to know what is important to you and your family, and curate an estate plan that uniquely fits your needs, leaving you feeling truly taken care of.  

After years of being a litigator in Houston, Texas, I decided to transition out of such a high-conflict field of law and move back to my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. Family is the most important thing to me, so being close to home was at the forefront of my decision. After spending years in the courtroom, I wanted to transform my law practice in a way that kept people in my community out of the courthouse and out of conflict.  

Throughout my practice, I have heard the personal stories of family, friends, clients and colleagues who have had negative experiences with estate planning, or the lack thereof, in the past. I learned just how wrong things can go when someone dies without a will, has significant assets passing through probate or when parents have not legally named guardians for their young children. I also learned how many misconceptions there are about who needs an estate plan. Estate planning is not just for those with substantial assets or numerous grandchildren. Proper planning is a gift to our families, no matter how big or small.  

My practice was born from a desire to redefine what legal care and traditional estate planning looks like: not as cold, transactional paperwork, but as personal and ongoing counseling. We truly prioritize client connection and lifetime support.
