About Dedra (Dee) Sibley
Hi, I’m Dee. I have a firm belief that EVERY family deserves to have a legacy. That is the reason I am proud to be a personal family lawyer. I have the opportunity to assist my clients to not only see the value in developing and nurturing a legacy for their families and loved ones but also to see families grow and thrive as they lay the groundwork for generational wealth.
I have been a licensed attorney for over 15 years in the practice areas of criminal law, labor & employment, debt & foreclosure defense & civil litigation. The most personally rewarding area of practice for me is Estate Planning. This is an area of law where you actually see the difference you are making in your clients lives, not just for them but for their future generations as well. It’s so powerful and uplifting to know how you are helping future generations.
I contribute part of my love for this journey to my educational foundation. I have a bachelor’s degree in finance and a master’s degree in business administration, in addition to my law degree. Prior to finishing college, I worked in a banking institution. I have always had an appreciation for finance and business and how the intersection of the 2 impacts peoples’ everyday lives.
I have been married to my husband for 36+ years (wow!) and we have 2 adult sons and 2 daughters-in-law. I am the proud NANA to 5 beautiful grandkids. It has truly been an eye-opening experience to watch them grow and thrive. It wasn’t until they were born that I began to truly understand the importance and impact of Legacy as I do today. I know that what I want for my family and grandkids is what others want for theirs as well. I’m happy to be in a position to help families lay that Legacy foundation.
