Cynthia Sherr

Cynthia L. Sherr is the founder of Cynthia L. Sherr Legacy Law, P.A. With more than 35 years of experience practicing law in Florida, Cindy brings both professional knowledge and personal understanding to the families she serves.

The loss of her husband and mother while she was in her 30s fundamentally changed the way she views life, family, and planning for the future. Those experiences shaped her commitment to helping others navigate life’s uncertainties with clarity, compassion, and confidence.

After a successful corporate career in financial services, Cindy chose to focus her practice on helping individuals and families plan not only for their legacy, but for life itself. She believes estate planning should go beyond documents and legal strategies. It should help families avoid unnecessary costs, confusion, and conflict while preserving what matters most — their loved ones, values, stories, guidance, and wishes.

Cindy is passionate about building long-term relationships with her clients and serving as a trusted resource for her community. She works closely with families to help protect their assets, preserve their intentions, and create plans that provide peace of mind for future generations.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Outside of the office, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and adult children, working out, and reading.
