I'm Cecilia Amo, and I became a Personal Family Lawyer because I believe in providing my clients the highest level of service and building lifetime relationships with them as a trusted advisor. I want to empower people to make the best choices for themselves and their families when it comes to legal planning.
I'm here to help millennials in Southern California understand and navigate the legal and financial decisions they face. To help explain legal issues in a way that's relatable and makes sense, I often use stories from pop culture. There are a lot of estate planning lessons that can be learned from Star Wars, Marvel, and Harry Potter!

I graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2006 and was the first Asian-American attorney hired at The Cochran Firm, one of the most prestigious civil rights firms in the nation. Within my first year, I served on the Board of the largest and oldest local association of Filipino-American lawyers in the United States. I was also featured on Filipino television programs such as Balitang America and Speak Out.
For many years I worked as a trial attorney, fighting for families that suffered a catastrophic injury or the wrongful death of a loved one.
Today, my private practice focuses on protecting families before tragedy strikes and preserving family wealth for future generations.
