Ashleigh is a seasoned attorney specializing in helping businesses, from start-ups to large companies, and individuals navigate legal issues and become legally compliant and protected.
Ashleigh received her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, magna cum laude. While at NSU, Ashleigh served as a Moot Court Honor Society member, was Associate Technical Editor for the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law and was President of the Caribbean Law Students’ Association from 2014-2016. Ashleigh is admitted to the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida and the United States Supreme Court.
After law school, Ashleigh spent her time in large law firms, building a dynamic career that spans several areas of law. Ashleigh’s legal journey began in bankruptcy law, where she represented sizeable commercial banking and financial institutions in bankruptcy cases. Her in-depth knowledge of bankruptcy regulations and litigation strategies enabled her to effectively protect her clients' interests. Ashleigh then transitioned to employment law and complex commercial litigation, where she advised and litigated on behalf of large companies, employers, and high net-worth individuals in court and before administrative agencies. Ashleigh has represented large companies in high-stakes business disputes, including commercial contracts, D&O liability, securities, and shareholder disputes.
In 2024, Ashleigh founded Blue Mahoe Law, where she practices business law, estate planning, and probate. Supported by her litigation experience in both federal and state courts, Ashleigh offers her clients strategic guidance on various business matters. As Managing Attorney at Blue Mahoe Law, clients frequently turn to Ashleigh for advice and counsel on daily operations, high-value employment issues, restructurings, and corporate governance and compliance challenges. Ashleigh also guides her clients on protecting their assets and providing peace of mind for their loved ones by crafting unique and comprehensive estate plans using trusts, wills, health care directives, special needs trusts, and business succession plans.

Ashleigh was raised in Kingston, Jamaica, and is committed to serving and celebrating the Caribbean diaspora in South Florida. Ashleigh loves to travel, swim, and play golf in her free time.
