I became a Personal Family Lawyer because I believe estate planning works best when it is built around personal relationships, clear communication, and ongoing support, not just legal documents. Through years of training and exposure to a wide range of estate planning practices and professionals nationwide, I saw how often traditional planning often falls short due to lack of follow-through, unclear expectations, or plans that don’t evolve as life changes. The Personal Family Lawyer model stood out to me because it is intentionally designed to close those gaps and better serve families over time.

My practice focuses on Trusts, Estates, & Business Planning as well as some Immigration & International Planning. I earned my law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University after obtaining my Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. In addition to my certification as a PFL, I am also a member of Wealth Counsel, Elder Counsel, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and I remain actively involved in my community through nonprofit and civic board service.

The Gunderson Law Group approaches estate planning as an ongoing process rather than a one-time transaction. We use transparent flat fees, a collaborative design process, and a structured planning system to ensure plans are thoughtfully designed, properly implemented, and kept up to date as life changes. Ongoing access and support are central to our work, so families feel comfortable reaching out, asking questions, and making adjustments. Our goal is to help families keep their loved ones out of court, out of conflict, and protected through every stage of life.
