Marjorie attended Stanford University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in European history and German studies with departmental honors in 1989. She earned her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles in 1992, and was licensed in California in 1992. She practiced in California for a number of years in both the public and private sectors before moving to Arizona. She has been licensed in Arizona since 2010 and has practiced in Arizona in the areas of commercial litigation, family law, and estate planning. Marjorie opened her own practice in 2015 so she could focus on helping people protect themselves and their families.
A firm believer in community service, Marjorie has donated countless hours as PTO president, vice-president, and silent auction chair; Girl Scout leader; Cub Scout leader; Brophy College Prep Crew team document chair and Band Booster volunteer. She volunteers professionally with the Maricopa County Bar Association and Disabled American Veterans preparing estate plans for disabled veterans.
During her involvement with her children’s schools and the disabled veterans, Marjorie saw many families devastated by the death or incapacity of a parent.
Marjorie’s paternal grandfather died while serving as a doctor with the U.S. Army in World War II, leaving behind his widow and two small children under the age of four. Insufficient planning left the family financially devastated, as Marjorie’s grandfather had left his death benefit to other relatives. This family experience motivated Marjorie’s need for proper planning, and from the time she was 8 years old, she knew she wanted to become an attorney.
Marjorie helps her clients with their estate and legacy planning so they can rest
assured their loved ones are protected. Often these needs change as families change, whether through marriage, divorce, re-marriage, or the changing needs of children. She educates her clients about their options in planning for the future of their family – passing on not only assets but each client’s unique values, history, and traditions to future generations.
Her mission is to be your trusted advisor to address legal questions and changing family circumstances throughout your life.
In her free time, Marjorie enjoys spending time with her husband and their two adult children, hiking, reading, horseback riding, traveling, and playing classical piano.
