Marla Morgan Mundheim’s practice focuses on helping individuals and families enhance their lives today, and secure their futures for tomorrow. She excels at guiding her clients through the often confusing maze of financial and legal decisions to create plans that ensure the well-being of their families and the accomplishment of cherished family goals. Her considerable legal expertise includes family protection, wealth preservation, and values-based planning, as well as planning strategies for unmarried couples and divorced individuals. Whether you are married or single, with a traditional family, a non-traditional family, or a blended one; just starting out or looking back on a life well-lived, Marla will help you to craft a plan that achieves your goals for your loved ones today, and help you to maintain it for years to come.
After graduating from law school with honors, where she earned the Excellence for the Future Award in Wills and Estates from the Center for Computer-Assisted Legal Instruction (CALI), was selected as a member of the Hand Inn of Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity (an honors Inn that recognizes outstanding academic achievement), and served as the Research Editor for the Law Review, Marla moved back to Texas and started her law career with a small firm in Hurst. She quickly became a partner, served as an Associate Municipal Court Judge for the City of Colleyville and the Town of Lakeside, and was later the Guardianship Auditor for Probate Court Number Two in Tarrant County. She has over twenty years of experience in estate planning, trusts, real estate, small business, negotiations, probate, guardianship, research, contract development, commercial business transactions, communications, auditing (both financial and regulatory), franchising, and complex business matters.
Most importantly, Marla married Paul Mundheim in 1996, and they have two children together, Morgan and Cooper.
