Lubbock attorney Jared B. Hall grew up in a small farming community in Southern Idaho. In 1999, he moved to Lubbock, Texas so he could continue working toward his goal of becoming a legal advisor and counselor. While in law school at Texas Tech University, Jared joined the Simnacher Law Offices as a law clerk; later staying with the firm as a full-time attorney. During his time with the firm, Jared has gained experience in nearly every type of civil law, from probate to personal injury.

However, Jared found the legal life of a traditional attorney conflicted with his view of what kind of lawyer he wanted to be. Rather than aid and advise clients to help them avoid or prepare for problems, the usual attorney will only see clients after there is a problem. As a traditional lawyer, Jared would see clients, draft documents or file suit, settle or try the case and then, send the clients a bill. After the bill is paid, there is little room or need in that process for an ongoing relationship with the client.

As a Personal Family Lawyer, Jared sees the program as a way to provide the best possible service and advice to clients at a time when they need it most—before there ever is a problem. But more than that, Jared is excited to be able to provide each of his clients with a relationship that lasts a lifetime, in addition to the initial planning and advice that they will get from their Personal Family Lawyer. And because the Personal Family Lawyer program always bills on a flat fee basis, Jared is now able to counsel and advise his clients in a regular and timely manner, and clients never have to worry about how much it will cost.

After graduating from law school, Jared married Sally Gomez in August of 2006. Jared is currently a member of the Lubbock County Bar Association and a member of the Consumer and Commercial Law section of the State Bar of Texas. Jared is also a member of the Lubbock Lions Club and sits on the Board of Directors for the Lubbock Legal Aid Society.
