As a lawyer and mom of two active boys, Norell understands how hectic life can be! Many of us have thought about putting a plan in place, but life is distracting and we always find a way to push it off for another day. Based on her own experience and those of clients, Norell has seen how planning for our death and incapacity (even though it can be uncomfortable at first) creates an enormous amount of peace of mind.
Norell takes a lighthearted approach to estate planning, and cherishes building life-long professional friendships with her clients. Helping families and individuals ensure that they and their loved ones are adequately protected is her passion, and she feels so lucky to be able to guide clients through the process.
She received her law degree at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. Norell began her legal career in 2006 as an employment and labor litigator with the City of Chicago. Even though she always wanted to be a litigator, this experience made her realize that she could better serve people by helping them avoid court with proper planning. The move to Naples provided an opportunity for Norell to do just that, and she joined a small estate planning law firm before opening her own practice.
When she’s not working, Norell loves spending time with her family. She is pretty amazing at building forts! You’ll also find her shuttling back and forth to soccer practice, power walking to 90’s hip hop, or kicking it with a margarita.
